Numerical Model of Thermal Effect by High Temperature Jet

초록

Heat flow models are investigated to evaluate the thermal effect on deck subjected to the exhausting heat impingement. Thereafter, the heat flux and temperature distribution generated by the impinging jet are numerically studied. As the impinging jet velocity increases and the Reynolds number increases, the conjugate heat transfer formulation gives more reasonable results rather than the convective heat transfer. Computational fluid dynamics (CFD) code was used for the numerical investigation. The RANS equation and the k-e turbulence model were used to analyze the heat flow of impinging jet. The heat flux distribution obtained from the conjugated heat transfer analysis is reasonable in that it is high in the stagnation zone.
