A CMOS Integrated Current Sensing Circuit for Wide Output Range of Boost/SEPIC DC-DC Converter

초록

An integrated CMOS current sensing circuit for both boost and SEPIC dc-dc converter is presented in this paper. The current sensing circuit is designed for dc-dc converters using boost, SEPIC topologies which have wide output range (The maximum output voltage of the dc-dc converter is up to 40V). It is used SENSEFETS technique and applied operational amplifier in it to provide high accuracy and has lower power consumption comparing to conventional current sensing method used in wide output range of PMIC. It is designed with a standard 035um process, and the simulation result shows the accuracy and validity of the proposed circuit.
