초록
In this paper, in order to substitute dry-air for SF6 gas in distribution power system equipment, breakdown characteristics of dry-air and SF6 gases are investigated in a quasi-uniform electric field. The dielectric behaviors of dry-air and SF6 gases are measured under the positive and negative 1.2/50㎲ impulse voltages. As a result, The 50% breakdown voltages in SF6 gas at gas pressure of higher than 0.15[MPa] and dry-air at the gas pressure of higher than 0.4[MPa] are greater than 150[kVp] in the negative polarity, respectively.
