초록
In internet environments, the character represents uniquely and symbolically the characteristics of humans, animals, organizations, etc. Owing to sharp increase of internet users, the internet is now firmly established as a mass media of characters. New methods are needed for the spread of characters in internet environments. The method using e-mail, flash animation, e-cards, cyber pets and avatars change the mechanical feeling on computers to soft feeling. Therefore we need new strategy for character industry. This study discusses for several issues on the character industry in internet environments- cyber characters in internet, the character industry in mobile internet and characters in contents business. Finally we suggest the strategies for each issue in digital environments.
