초록

Poly(L-lactic acid-co-succinic acid-co-1,4-butane diol) (PLASB) was synthesized by direct condensation copolymerization of L-lactic acid, succinic acid (SA) and 1,4-butane diol (BD) in bulk state using titanium(Ⅳ) butoxide(TNBT) as a catalyst. Weight average molecular weight (Mw) of PLASB was 2.1×105 as the content of SA and BD was 0.5 mole/100 mole of LA.1,2 An electrospinning method was used to fabricate porous membranes from newly synthesized bioabsorbable polymers (PLASB) for biomedical applications. The structure and morphology of electrospun membranes were investigated by scanning electron microscope (SEM) (Fig. 1). SEM images showed that the fiber diameter and the nanostructured morphology depended on processing parameters such as mixture ratio of solvents (dimethyl formamide and methylene chloride) and polymer concentrations. The combination of solvent mixture ratio and polymer concentration could be used to fabricate uniform nanofiber non-woven membranes.3 Cell attachment and proliferation on electrospun PLASB porous membrane was evaluated by counting viable cell number of mouse fibroblast cells and compared with PLASB bulk films.
