Experimental Tests for Evaluation of Energy Dissipation Capacity of a T-stub Connection Fastened by SMA Bars Under Axial Tensile Loads
초록
Shape memory alloy (SMA) materials that have super-elastic and shape-memory capacities are being used in structural systems to increase energy dissipation capacity. The common types of SMAs used are SMA wire, SMA bar, and SMA damper. In this research, the energy dissipation capacity of a T-stub connection fastened by SMA bars is studied by performing actual experimental tests with various geometric parameters.
