The Study proposes a new type of exhibition hall as three dimensional event space through not only interconnection between inside and outside but also multi-dimensional cognition on space, while avoiding a typical exhibition hall which is enclosed box. Emphasizing the fact that a dynamic of architecture belongs to external world, in particular, the study focuses on the intermediate space residing among objects, turns the perimeter where inside meets outside to be certain space, and provides spectators with multi-dimensional experience through transforming the interstices into landscape. The study will be proceeded with theoretical investigation on the characteristic of 'perimetric space' as an interstice in modern cities and its architectural applicabilities, and then design experiment on a 'Bird Watchers' House' within the area around the North Riverside Highway beside Han River to propose a new type and function of display. The main strategic argument is focused on how to conceptualize the perimeter between solid and void into an idea of topology in order to link the cityscape to the nature, Han River.
