초록

Strategic Alliances(SA) between cross-national partners have become an important aspect of international commerce. This research attempted mainy to provide some insight into recent SA formed during 1995-1999 within Korean markets. Data was collected from the KINDS(한국언론정보)index. And the research outcomes show that (1) Frequency of SA has increased during 1995-97 (2) Electronics and telecommunications accounts 61% of the reported SA (3)non-equity/collaborations/two partners' type was evident (4)the Largest numbers of SA were formed to engage in Single joint activity.
