An Experimental Investigation on Mechanical Fatigue Property of Chemical Starch-Based ER Fluids

This paper presents mechnical fatigue property of the starch-based ER fluid. A flow mode type tester,, which has the same working mode as the ER damper is devised and the testing is undertaken up to one million cycles. The Bingham model is also distilled at a certain operating cycle.
