Reduce the density with maintaining flame retardancy of the polyurethane-silicone hybrid foam by application of physical blowing agent.
초록
The urethane foam commercially widely used has the advantage of low density and good mechanical strength but has the great weakness of being vulnerable to fire, so we foamed together polyurethane, and polydimethylsiloxane(PDMS) called the polyurethane-silicone hybrid foam. ? The polyurethane-silicone hybrid foam had relatively increased retardancy, but the density of foam also increased because of the PDMS. ? So, we used the physical blowing agent (PBA) hydrocarbon boiling point near the foaming temperature (100 ℃) such as, cyclopentane, hexane, heptane etc. ? Thus, we researched the most appropriate PBA considering the density and flame retardancy of the foam according to the type of PBA
