A numerical simulation on breaking waves over various slopes

초록

Unsteady breaking waes over slopes of various geometries are numerically simulated using a finite difference method in a rectangular grid system. Two-dimensional Navier-Stokes equations and the continuity equation are used for the computations in which kinematic boundary condition is applied to represent free surface. Marker density method is also adopted to allow plunging jets impinging on the free surface.
