초록
A multiple-input and multiple-output (MIMO) coherent optical orthogonal frequency division multiplexing (COOFDM) free space optical (FSO) system is proposed to alleviate the influence of the fading channel, considering the joint effect of atmosphere-turbulence, path loss, and pointing errors, in the paper. Two different diversity combining schemes, equal gain combining (EGC) and maximum ratio combining (MRC), are employed to make the signal detection. Performance analysis of the bit error rate (BER) and outage probability of the proposed system have been presented. Numerical results show the performance improvement of the MIMO CO-OFDM FSO system and the proposed FSO system with MRC scheme achieves the best performance compared with the other CO-OFDM FSO systems.
