Synthesis, characterization and Application of Palladium(II) complexes containing tridentate beta-diketoiminate ligands

The synthesis, characterization and application as an olefin polymerization catalyst of (beta-diketoiminate)(L) palladium(II) [L=n3-allyl, Cl, CH3] complexes are studied. The beta-diketoiminate ligands and their complexes have been characterized by 1H, 13C NMR and elemental analysis. All the palladium(II) complexes have been tested as catalyst precursors for the homo- and copolymerization of various olefin monomers.
