Two Cartier opeators and codes

In this talk, we will introduce two types of Cartier opeators. The first Cartier operator is a fundamental tool for working with Kahler differential forms in positive algebraic geomerty. The second Cartier operator acts on the field of formal Laurent series in one variable with coefficients in a field of positive characteristic. After touching on a relation beween two Cartier opeators, we will introduce Cartier codes constructed by A. Couvreur using the former Cartier operator and then present some interesting results concerning the latter Cartier operators.
