Optimal design and analysis of hybrid optical antenna for increasing the recording density of information storage optical recording devices

초록

Hybrid optical antenna, which is the combination of a waveguide lens and bow-tie optical antenna, has been proposed as a means to increase the recording density of information storage optical recording devices. In this paper, it was optimally designed and analyzed by using Finite Difference Time Domain method. The spot size and the enhancement factor of the designed optical antenna were about 10nm and 540 times, respectively.
