The Output Characteristic of Ferroelectrics for Voltage Pulse Generation

초록

In 1957, it was reported for the first time that pulse voltage and pulse current occur when lead zirconate titanate and barium titanate are compressed by shock wave. Also high power pulse generators using ferroelectric materials as a power source have been studied. Those generators are relatively small, light and have simple structure so that they have portability. In this paper, the pulsed voltage of about 15kV were generated by shock-compressed PZT 52/48 of 10mm thickness.
