Thermal and mechanical properties of fluorosilicone and F-LSR prepared using quaternary ammonium base as initiator

초록

Fluorine based liquid silicone rubber (F-LSR) is an inevitable material for specific area because of its unique properties such as cold-resistance. ? Fluorosilicone, a raw material for F-LSR, is mainly polymerized by anionic ring-opening polymerization(AROP) using a base initiator. ? In particular, the quaternary ammonium base guarantees high initiating performance and can be simply removed by heating after polymerization. ? In our study, polymerization of fluorosilicone by AROP and manufacturing process of F-LSR were optimized using a quaternary ammonium base.
