마이크로웨이브 처리를 통한 Degussa P25 TiO2의 손쉬운 저온 표면개질과 광촉매 능력 평가

초록

TiO2 has been extensively studied for environmental remediation (i.e., pollutant degradation) because of their superior oxidative decomposition ability and price. Nevertheless TiO2 has comparative broad band gap(3.2 eV), it exhibits photocatalytic activation only under UV irradiation(<384nm), which accounts for only 7% of the total solar energy. To improve photolysis efficiency, surface of P25 TiO2 is modified under microwave treatment that is simple and low temperature procedure. Raman, XRD, TEM , XPS and PL measurements were used to characterize structure and surface area. The photocatalytic activity of the TiO2 was evaluated through a comparison of the degradation of Rhodamine 6G(R6G).
