초록
We propose a continuous process to produce barium ferrite(BaO.6Fe2O3) particles with hydrothermal crystallization in supercritical water. The supercritical water crystallization method provides high controllability of partilce size, morphology and crystal structure by manipulating the solvent density with temperature, concentration and residencce time were examined. The homogeneous phase of reactant solution could be achieved as rapid heating to reaction temperature by mixing with supercritical water at a mixing point. Thus, the single phase barium ferrite paticles were highly stable and could be produced continuously water rystallization method can be applied to the production of complex barium ferrite, which can be used in high-density recording media.
