Sonoelectrochemical Etching of High-Purity Aluminum Foil
초록
In the manufacture of aluminum electrolytic capacitors, high-purity aluminum foils are anodically etched in order to prepare a high surface area. In this work, galvanostatic etching of aluminum foils in an ultrasonic field has been carried out at different solution temperature and acoustic power. Analyzing the surface morphology of etched tunnels by scanning electron microscope, we observed that appropriate acoustic power resulted in higher pit density and longer etched tunnels compared with that generated by conventional aluminum etching method.
