Interpolation Techniques to Respond to Time Variations in Rhythmic Force Input

초록
This study proposes an interpolation method based on ascending/descending segment partitioning to perform same-user verification using pressure time series (Rhythmic Force) collected from Force Touch–enabled smartphones. By inserting samples using the mean of each segment’s endpoints, the method preserves waveform structure while normalizing sequence length. In One-Class SVM experiments, interpolation alone yielded limited performance gains; however, when combined with feature extraction, the proposed interpolation achieved the highest accuracy.
