초록
Scattering behaviors of nanoparticles have tremendous interests in numerous research areas, such as plasmonic color displays, spectroscopic systems, and solar cells. In particular, dielectric nanoparticles with high refractive index have recently received a lot of attention due to their availability to support electric and magnetic resonances, and relatively low absorption compared to metal nanoparticles. Maximized forward scattering has been indicated by the interference between the electric and magnetic dipoles. And it is easy to tuning a direction of the scattered light by controlling a shape or a size of the nanoparticles, offering the distinct potential to various applications. In this study, we investigate the effect of angles and polarizations of incident light on the forward light scattering of silicon nanoparticles on various substrates in the visible wavelength range .
