초록

A variety of organic reactions are catalyzed in a very selective manner by base catalysts. Especially mesoporous silica functionalized with amino groups is a useful insoluble catalyst for the Knoevenagel condensation. Amine grafted MCM-41 was prepared by three different types. The efficiency of aminopropyl grafted mesoporous silica (APM) as catalysts was studied in comparison with that of added methyl groups (MAPM) and that of coated amines (CAPM). The higher TON values of MAPM was attributed to the effect of reduced SiOH groups .
