Intelligent Gathering of Contents on Distance Education using Mobile Agent

This paper describes the design and implementation of the intelligent gathering of contents on a distance education system using a mobile agent. It has been suggested that intelligent gathering systems can search various contents on a distance education system through a mobile agent. The gathering of content was started with a student model based on diagnosis and reason. Which made it possible for the Student Assist Agents to reason out the levels of the student’s knowledge through student models. The student assist agent intelligently and autonomously executes to accomplish the students’ requirements by interacting with the mediator agent. It can also provide more effective learning in cooperation with each module of intelligent distance learning system. Therefore, this study designed an agent based on a new type of the intelligent distance education system. We describe effectively a gathering method of contents by student diagnosis. In this paper we will discuss in detail the hybrid student model. This model has been designed and implemented with an attempt to learn java programming.
