초록
The self assembly of nanoparticles into ordered morphologies is ane of the topics in the field of materials science as it is expected to create nanostructured materials with unique physical and chemical properties. 1 Mesoporous silica matertials possessing well orderde and controllable mesopores with a narrow pore size distribution have stimulated great interest, owing to their potential applications in catalysis, absorption and nanotechnology. 2 The periodic mesoporous materials, mainly ordered cubic SBA-16, provide perfect cndidates for the loading and encapsulation of metals or semicondutor clusters and nanowires. CdS is a very attractive semiconductor material due to its stability and ease of preparation and handling. 3 Its absorption band is located in the visible wavelength range, and it shows a blue shift towards the ultraviolet zone as its size decreases. In the present study, CdS nanocrystal loaded into the pores of mesoporous silica material by an approach of impregnation followed by post treatment.
