초록
The study experimentally surveyed transient characteristics of grounding system, related to ionized phenomenon of soil, caused by impulse voltage at coaxial hemispheric electrode system, for which the study measured the impulse voltage and current applied to the hemisphere type electrode buried in soil, based on which fact the study analyzed parameters such as transient ground resistance-time (R-t) curve, voltage-current (V-I) curve, soil ionization growth, etc. In the case that soil ionized process occurred by the impulse voltage, non-linear electrical characteristics were shown, in which V-I curves showed hysteresis curve of fan shape. Also, by using high sensitive photographic film, the study discussed development process of ionized phenomenon, based on taken luminous event photographs. Soil ionization, occurring around ground electrode, was found that it had developed to electro-thermal mechanism through heating caused by conductive current
