Synthesis, Characterization, and Application of High-Surface-Area Biosilica for Enhanced Adsorption Performance
초록
The growing demand for high-purity silica across various sectors has intensified the focus on efficient and eco-friendly synthesis methods. Building upon the strengths of previous research, our experimental design has successfully yielded biosilica with an impressive surface area. A standout feature of our synthesized biosilica is its high surface area, crucial for applications requiring excellent adsorption capabilities. Particularly in the fields of dye and oil adsorption, a high surface area allows for greater absorption capacities, thereby enhancing the material's effectiveness. In dye removal processes, our biosilica enables rapid and high-capacity adsorption, contributing to more efficient water treatment systems. Similarly, in oil spill remediations, the high surface area ensures quick and effective absorption of oil contaminants, making it a promising material for environmental clean-ups. Our research aims to validate the scalability and environmental advantages of our biosilica. Through detailed characterization and performance tests, we demonstrate its applicability and effectiveness in dye and oil adsorption applications. The overarching goal is to establish our high-purity biosilica as a technologically efficient and environmentally responsible alternative for adsorption applications.
