초록
1,3-Dipolar cycloaddition is one of the most well-known and useful reaction to form heterocyclic compounds. Furoxans could be prepared from nitile oxides, which is usually generated in situ from chloroximes and nitrolic acids in the presence of bases. Recently, we found that homogeneous and heterogeneous reaction media was one of the most important factors to control the reaction path. Dimerization of imidazole derivatives afforded 5-membered furoxan and 6-membered dioxadiazene, which may be potent candidates for high energetic materials.
