초록
We report polarization-reversal swtiching studies for PMN-PT crystals, and give the dependent ferroelectric and piezoelectric properties. Data are described for coercive field and remanent polarization as a function of number of swtiching events and temperature. Hysteresis loops were examined with increasing temperature and on field cooling. Measurements are given for compositions that were within and outside the morphotropic phase boundary region. Hot-stage optical microscopy was used to monitor domain structure on heating and cooling, and the results are discussed with respect to properties. Domain characteristics and switching behavior are related to composition and structural transformations.
