초록

In mobile communication systems using saellites, various multiple access protocols are used to provide service in packet switching networks between mobile stations and fixed stations. Mobile stations are airplnes, ships, cars and persons. Fixed stations are gateway stations of conventional PSTN, base stations of cellular mobile communication systems and control centers of managing satellite communication networks. To efieiently provide such vrious types of users, a new multiple access protocol is necessary. Since reservation multiple access protocols and random multiple aceess protocols which are currently employed in most satellite communication systems have some strength and some weaknes, a new multiple access protocol with better chracteristics is required to improve the quality of service. In this paper, a protocol with better performance than conventional protocols is proposed. Using simulation we find optimal parameters for transmission and frame structure, and make a comparison between the protocols in the same envioronment.
