초록
This paper presents performance characteristics of a vehicle suspension installed with ER shock absorbers. The govering equation of motion is eatablished and a sliding mode controller is designed. The HILS system is constructed and implemented by adopting both bump and random road excitations. Various properties such as vertical acceleration, pitch angular displacement and rolling motion are evaluated with and without employing the proposed control scheme.
