Phosphorus Removal Employing Ultra Rapid Coagulation to Manage Non-point Source

초록

This study was conducted to efficiently remove phosphorus employing an ultra rapid coagulation. Experiment was performed using weighted coagulation(clay) and returned sludge to secure rapid settling of solid and phosphorus during rainfall event. Phosphorus was removed by primarily two mechanisms i.e. formation of insoluble aluminum-phosphorus precipitate and phosphorus adsorption on Al(OH)3.
