초록

The NO2 gas sensing properties of multiple-networked Ag-functionalized TeO2 nanorod sensors were examined. Scanning electron microscopy showed the nanowires with diameters of 50-100 nm and lengths of a few micrometers. Transmission electron microscopy and X-ray diffraction showed that the nanrods were tetragonal structured single crystal TeO2. The Ag-functionalized TeO2 nanorod sensors showed sensitivities of 13.18, 14.72, 15.42, and 16.95% at NO2 concentrations of 10, 50, 100, and 200 ppm, respectively, at 300 °C, which are more than 10 times higher than those of bare-TeO2 nanorod sensors. The response and recovery times of the sensors were less than 4 min. In addition, the origin of the enhancement of the sensing properties of the TeO2 nanorods by Ag-functionalization is discussed
