Recent Challenges in Geotechnical Engineering with Artificial Intelligence

Artificial intelligence become a big wave in all human lives. However, due to uncertainty and lack of reliable data of geo-materials, artificial intelligence has not been applied and rather the design and construction has been relied on empirical solutions in geotechnical engineering field. However, challenging researches has been recently performing to catch up the new paradigm using AI for smart city. In this paper, few recent researches using artificial intelligence for geotechnical engineering are presented.
