초록
In this paper, we report on our finite element method (FEM) study on the charge transport and exciton dynamics for Alq3-based organic light emitting diode (OLED). We investigated the carrier transport and recombination mechanism of the two-layer structure and thereby devised a high-efficiency device structure. This paper also reports the effect of the insertion of the emission layer (EML) and also the dependence of the efficiency on the internal barrier height.
