A Framework for the Eco-friendly Construction Operation Plan based on Emission Gas Information from Construction Equipment

The main criteria of the traditional construction operation planning have been considered as the two issues; productivity and costs. However, recent interest in environmental issues have been increasing rapidly throughout the all industries, and this trend has also started to being witnessed in the construction industry. Recently, the construction industry has been making various efforts for minimizing the emission gas from construction equipment in sites. This study is to suggest the fundamental process and methodologies for recognizing high construction productivity, low unit costs and low quantity of emission gas amount as three crucial factors by identifying the amount of emission gas from construction equipment to the construction operation plans. The objective of this paper is to present the direction and feasible methodologies as the initial step of the study described above.
