초록

Chronic sclerosing sialadenitis (Kuttner tumor) is an uncommon benign inflammatory disease of cubmandibular gland. The disease was originally described by H. Kuttner in 1896, who reported a "hard swelling" of one or both submandibular glands. The histologic features are a well-defined mass lesion with preservation of lobular architecture, marked lymphoplasmacytic inflammation, formation of lymphoid follicles, sclerosis, acinar atrophy, and obliterans phlebitis. This morphologic appearance, in conjunction with the elevated IgG4 expression is an evidence of distinct entity of this disease.
