Developing Collaborative Commerce System Based on Roles and Components

초록

As the commerce environment grows more competitive and introduces more global pressures, firms are compelled to adopt collaborative commerce (c-commerce) philosophy to create and sustain a competitive edge. The c-commerce demands extensive interactions among multiple-stakeholders with different core competences and roles, aiming at a common goal. From this motivation, we propose a role-driven component-oriented design methodology (RCOM) for developing c-commerce systems in this paper. The methodology architecture consists of four phases: collaboration analysis, component analysis, component design, and implementation.
