초록
Generally, molecules with higher nitrogen and oxygen atom percentage such as HMX or RDX tend to exhibit an increased detonation property as explosives. In addition, polycyclic molecules with a molecular symmetry such as cubane or isowurzitane have a higher molecular density as well as a molecular strain. Combination of the higher N and O atom percentage and the polycyclic molecular skeleton would result in higher explosive performance as energetic materials as shown by octanitrocubane and HNIW. As part of our continuing effort to develop novel energetic molecules, we will present our recent advances in the synthesis of N-nitrosubstitutedazapropellanes.Inaddition,newderivativesofazapropellaneswillalsobereported.
