This paper presents the application of the iterative physical optics approach combined with the method of moments, termed the IPO-MoM hybrid method, for efficient and accurate Radar Cross Section prediction of electrically large objects. The MoM current on a part of the scatterer is interpolated into the first-order physical optic current. Then, the conventional iterative physical optic iteration is computed. Comparative analyses with the MoM in FEKO, for dielectric object scattering, are provided to show the improvement in RCS estimation. © 2024 IEEE.
