초록
We report on a non-unitary transfer matrix that we have developed and have found highly effective in analyzing the transfer characteristics of a race-track resonator. While unitary matrix method shows a limited description, the non-unitary matrix method has been found to explain the behaviors of a race-track resonator effectively, including the characteristics of t-dependent drop power and the length-dependent phase variations. The results show excellent agreement with the results from the finite difference time domain(FDTD)-based simulation study.
