Oxidative Dehydrogenation of Ethylbenzene over Perovskite-Type Oxide Catalyst in the Presence of Carbon Dioxide

초록

Energy saving of dehydrogenation of ethylbenzene can be realized by using the CO2 as an oxidant due to alleviation of chemical equilibrium. Although this process has the advantage, it gave a stricking drawback of catalyst deactivation during the reaction due to carbon deposition. Perovskite-type oxides are useful for catalysts because of high thermal stability, dispersion of components and redox property. Therefore, in this work, perovskite-type oxides were synthesized by sol-gel method using several components (Ca, Ti, Fe, La, Sr, V) and tested with a fixed bed reactor.
