Opportunities and Challenges of Adopting Advanced Digital Technologies in Healthcare Service

The purpose of this study is to identify the most prominent technologies in healthcare and to provide insight into their current status from the patient's perspective. Thus, we initially examined healthcare-related videos on YouTube, including the video transcripts and comments, with the objective of identifying the most influential technologies from the patient's perspective. We selected the "Top 10 Emerging Technologies of 2023" presented by the World Economic Forum as a basis for specifying leading technologies that can be used across various fields, including healthcare. To suggest results of this study, we consider combination of sentiment analysis and network analysis to identify the leading technologies from the perspective of the patient and the status of the current leading technology. The findings of this analysis can inform healthcare organizations of potential avenues for more efficient resource allocation. Consequently, this study provides a comprehensive understanding of essential technologies in healthcare and has implications for the improvement of patient-centered healthcare.
