1.5㎛ 표면방출레이저의 1.25Gb/s급 SMF와 MMF의 혼합 광전송 특성

We have performed transmission experiment using a hybrid combination of single-mode fiber (SMF) and multi-mode fiber (MMF) and a 1.5 um vertical-cavity surface-emitting laser (VCSEL). Data rates up to 1.25 Gb/s were successfully demonstrated for transmissions over the combined 10 km SMF and 100 m MMF in both directions. BER was tested up to 10-10 with 231-1 PRBS data.
