Time-Varying Inductance Implementation for EMGF Experimental Simulations
초록
In this paper, we propose a time-varying inductance implementation for an EMGF(explosive magnetic generator of frequency) experimental simulations that can work as a time-varying LRC lumped circuit model of the EMGF without explosion. The EMGF consists of either permanent or electro-magnets and a circuit that includes an armature, helical coil, and capacitor. And it can be modelled as time-varying LRC circuit since the equivalent circuit of the device is basically an LRC circuit. The equipment is composed of a coil, a movable conductor, a driving motor and a pulse generator. The simulation procedure of this equipment is as follows: First, the movable conductor is accelerated by the motor to make the coil short-circuited. And the moment when the first short occurs, the pulse generator is to apply some voltage to the closed circuit shortly in order to provide an initial current. Finally, the moving conductor moves along on the coil during the current oscillation to simulate the time-varying LRC circuit model. The validity of the proposed simulation equipment is exemplified by comparing computer simulation results of the equivalent circuit model with experimental results using the EMGF simulation equipment.
