Although malignant transformation of mature cystic teratoma is not a common complication, some of its constituent tissues have the potential to undergo malignant transformation. If it is the case, squamous cell carcinoma is the most common teratoma related cancer. Teratoma are mostly found in neonates and young adults. We present an a rare case of a postmenopausal woman with mucinous adenocarcinoma arising from one retroperitoneal mature cystic teratoma
