Mixed refrigerant-based Organic Rankine Cycle analysis for using waste heat recovery from diesel power generator
초록
Proper design and selection of working fluid is the most critical issue in Organic Rankine Cycle (ORC) which can convert the mechanical energy to the electrical power under medium or low temperature difference in our environmental condition. Also recently, it is strongly required and controlled by the Kyoto Protocol to satisfy the international environmental regulation, the need of new refrigerant has been more important to produce the renewable energy from our environments. By elimination of threaten our nature, new need of refrigerants with a low global warming potential as well as low ozone depletion potential should fulfill the other important factors such as, toxicity, flammability, safety, atmosphere life, chemical stability, volume capacity and working pressure. Based on the existing waste heat from diesel power generating system, new refrigerant design was studied and tested.
