초록
A study about superhydrophobicity is based on surface characteristics of living things in nature such as Morpho butterfly, Lotus leaf, Stenocara beetle. And there have been various studies and review articles about hydrophobic surfaces or layers[1]. Basically, superhydrophobicity phenomenon can be explained by surface roughness based Wenzel theory and trapped air based Cassie-Baxter theory[2,3]. In this theory, roughened surface and a plenty of air gap increase high contact angles. A quantity of trapped air is very important to increase contact angle(CA) in fabricating periodic pattern for hydrophobic surface.
