초록

Air conditioning noise in the car become more tangible with the advent of electric vehicles. Therefore, many kinds of research have been conducted to suppress air conditioning noise. Since the air conditioning noise is composed mostly of low-frequencies, the Active Noise Cancelling (ANC) technique is suitable for reducing these noises. In this paper, firstly, the intensity measurements have been carried out to specify the location of noise sources and determine the frequency and amplitude of the noise. It has turned out that the noise is generated dominantly by the compressor and fan which is attached to the heat exchanger. Moreover, the rattling noise is generated by the transmission of the compressor vibration to the system components. Since the performance of the ANC depend on how well the reference signal represents the measured noise, it is understood that the best signal can be acquired by the accelerometer that is stuck in the basement of the system. The well-known and practically proven Filtered X Least Mean Square (FXLMS) algorithm is utilized to generate the signal for the secondary sources. The results show that noise reduction between 3 and 10 dB is achieved in various frequencies.
