초록
The purpose of this research is to identify the structural(inherent in the operation) barriers laid on the Northeast Asia air service industry. We know well the difficulties faced to grasp the strategic factors that influence on the mechanism of airline service industry. To make a conclusive remarks, in brief, we cite again the major barriers identified according to the order of ASAs(air service agreements), LIB(legal and institutional barriers), FCB(finance and custom barriers), TOB(technology and operation barriers), MPB(major physical barriers), and finally MEB(major emergent barriers): l Major barriers in air service agreements -Major bargaining issues are often different between the countries -Carriers? competitiveness are far different, one from another, to negotiate equally -National interest is also sharply confronted in every negotiation l Major barriers in legal and institutional dimension -Legal and institutional differences are serious to make common criteria at once -Open-skies are not allowed by the central government, particularly in China -China?s detachment principle of politics and economics make Korean perplexed -Political sense, as irrational factor, is the most important in dealing with China -Unilateral assertion of Chinese government vis-?vis Korean government l Major barriers in finance and custom dimension -Custom tax of China is not the international level of criteria -Lack of free tax zone in Northeast Asia -Frequent double taxation phenomenon l Major barriers in technological and operational dimension -International route designation and international airport designation are not properly designated in China(Hainan, Yengil etc.) -Chinese air services do not follow the international standard -Need more investment for the safety-first management system -More liberal exchanges of manpower in air transport area -Poor service technology of China hinders the integration l Major physical barriers -Saturated slots in Pek
